Winnie the Pooh

This book is a redesign of a chapter from the classic Winnie the Pooh stories written by A.A. Milne. The idea of this project was to create a whole new feel to the story and to reillustrate the popular Ernest H. Shepard decorations using color and new line techniques. The new characters and splashes of color give the younger audience an interest in viewing the pages along with reading the story.

Screen Printed

These illustrations were all created on the computer and turned into screen prints.

The purpose of a type speciman book is to showcase a typeface and how it can be used. This book shows Bulmer, a typeface from the Shakespearean era and it also tells the history of the font. Hand drawn illustration later painted in water color after being printed.

Type Speciman

This font entitled Baby Butts was created by hand and then translated graphically onto the computer. It was inspired by the chubby and squishy skin of a new baby and was named baby butts for this reason.

The font then inspired a book of 26 bright and colorful illustration created for children and adults to enjoy.
